DREAMLAND MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT SIGNS TALENTED ARTISTE DISCOVERED BY JALANGO AND RELEASE HIS FIRST VIDEO

19/11/2014, Nairobi, Kenya…Dreamland music entertainment signs Otile Brown who is a singer, songwriter and a guitarist and release his first video.

Dreamland Music Entertainment company is synonymous with churning out great tunes. From the times of ‘Kapungala’, ‘Kiriro,’ ‘Emmanueli’ and many award winning songs, this label has never disappointed. Under the shepherd of Edward Omondi also known as Docta Eddy, the label has experienced tremendous growth branching out into video production among other businesses.
As a commitment to take the Kenyan music industry to the next level, Dreamland Music Entertainment has signed 3 artistes into its label with the first to be signed being Otile Brown.

Otile Brown, was born and raised in the coastal city of Mombasa. At only 21 years, the artiste has mastered the art of song writing, plays the guitar, is a rapper, does ragga with amazing vocals to crown it all. Many who have listened to him admit that his music is mature and he can easily be the ‘John Legend’ of Africa. He was discovered by Jalango, who later referred him to Docta Eddie. Since then, they have been recording music and the first single titled Shujaa Wako (Your Hero) has just been released. The song is categorized as RnB with a feel of Bongo and a coastal touch. Produced by the award winning Docta Eddy, the music is written and performed by Otile Brown. You can watch the video right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJL6Kyh83Iw&index=1&list=UU0S5mztH96WTtFEfBNiVKNw
The acoustic version of the video has been released too and you can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=596fWZYDXWo&feature=youtu.be

With Nigeria and Tanzania music dominating Kenyan airwaves, the move has been applauded by many industry players as healthy and is bound to upset the status quo of Kenyan music.
”We hope to see many artistes and recording labels follow suit. The time to record music and release without proper plan is long gone. If the Kenyan music is to dominate MTV, Trace, Channel O and other international stations, we must get our acts together,” said Eric of One FM
