I am helping "Signs of Hope Partnership" which supports education for Deaf children in Tanzania, interpreting services, and Tanzanian Sign Language classes. The brochure, which is attached to this email describes our efforts to help Deaf children in Tanzania. Obviously, our efforts to help Deaf children in Tanzania requires money and that's why this Saturday from 8:30 - 10:30 at Bethany Community Church in Laurel, Maryland will be hosting a FREE breakfast, provided by IHOP. We hope you can join us for a delicious breakfast and learn about opportunities to really make a difference in a Deaf child's life.
Two key success for our project so far has been to sponsor 10 deaf students to attend Jubilee Secondary school in Dodoma, as well as teach Sign Language to many deaf children and their caregivers (parents, relatives) in many villages in Dodoma area. We expect to expand both the number of students we sponsor as well as number of deaf children we reach.
Please see attached brochure and event invitation.
If you have any questions or suggestions please email me at batamula@gmail.com
Thanks for your time and hope to see you Saturday!
