This is just a reminder, please come and participate in strengthening our Tanzanian community in Southern California. In the past we have shown solidarity be it good or difficulty times. Similarly, let us come together in solidarity to restructure and strengthen our community in Southern California. Each one of us has a responsibility to reshape our vision and mission, everyone’s input is critical in making sure that we stay in cause with clear goals and objectives that will make our community effective and more useful.
Below is the initial meeting invitation email from Dada Rabia, please read it along with the attached minutes from the previous Elder’s meeting. We will have one Agenda: going over the recommendations from the Elders meeting and make significant decisions on our way forward as a community. Our chain of events will be as follows…
· 06:00 pm arrive at 333 First Street, Seal Beach, CA 90740
· 06:30 pm begin the meeting
· 07:45 pm end the meeting
· 08:00 pm begin eating and socializing
· 10:00 pm kwa heri ya kuonana
NOTE: For those who attended the previous Elder’s meeting please make a note that it is mandatory for you to attend this upcoming meeting on Saturday Feb 26, 2011. Also, please remember to call Dada Namtasha (310-808-3491) and let her know what you will be bringing. Lastly, please make sure to call and bring others to the meeting.
