As anyone who's been watching American Idol knows, Jennifer Lopez has a hard time delivering bad news to contestants. And while the tears famously flowed when the judges eliminated the endearing Chris Medina, who's wife is suffering from serious brain damage following a car accident, JLo says audiences at home only saw the tip of the iceberg.
"I actually cried a lot more than they showed on TV," Jennifertold Entertainment Tonight.
Jennifer explained that when she decided to be a judge on the hit show, she didn't realize what an emotional experience it would be. But she's found it's much easier to connect with the contestants than she expected.
"I know I'm a passionate person and I know I'm an emotional person, I just didn't expect it to hit me in that way," she said.
