ESTABLISHMENT
1. It is hereby established a Student Association at the University of Dar es Salaam by the name
of THE VOICE OF INTELLECTUAL CENTRE- UNIVERSITY OF DAR ES SALAAM, also to be known by
its acronym as VIC-UDSM.
2. The Voice of Intellectual Centre shall be for all purposes a Non- Profit,  Nonpolitical
Association led by Students
3. The area of operation of the Voice of Intellectual Centre shall be at The University of Dar es
salaam.
4. The office of the organization shall be situated at the University of Dar es salaam and
correspondences to the organization shall be channeled through the following address and
other channels specified here under;

VISION STATEMENT
i) To have and be the best Student Association that will purposely deal with youths’
problems at the University of Dar es salaam  and rendering education on how they
can employ themselves and reducing their dependent to the government
ARTICLE 6: MISSION STATEMENT
i) The mission of this Association  is to be a centre of reasoning and analytical mind, hence
influencing the rational society of Dar es salaam Community.
ARTICLE 7: OBJECTIVES
1. To enhance close interaction between the Universities, the government, its officials with
university of Dar es salaam students in various aspects.2. To make youth Intellectuals at the University of Dar es salaam participate in national decision
making especially toward issues related and affecting them.
3. To create nationalism and patriotism awareness and spirit  among the youth (University
students) towards building the nation
4. To impact entrepreneurship knowledge among the youth in the all universities for them to
reduce dependence to the government on ready created jobs.
5. To create reasoning and analytical mind to the University society.
6. To impart civil education in relation to national unity and solidarity.
7. To prepare youth for next fifty years of solidarity and unity and independent mindsets
8. To create youth forum for discussing their issue while maintaining core value of the nation
such as union, peace and solidarity
