Trip Itinerary:
January 7th: Departure and travel to Dubai International Airport
January 8th: Layover in Dubai
January 9th: Travel from Dubai to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; travel from Dar es Salaam to Arusha, Tanzania
January 10th:
World Vision event at Community Knowledge Center in Near Arusha, Tanzania
Group will learn from the children and visit the newly-built Community Knowledge Center that's equipped with computers. The school football and net ball teams will also participate in some form of scrimmage.
PATH event at Mount Meru Hospital
The team along with PATH representatives will we will work alongside hospital staff to screen dozens of children for TB.
January 11th: WSU's Paul G. Allen School for Global Animal Health Vaccination Clinic in Kamba Ya Simba, Tanzania
Interacting with hundreds of children between the ages of 10-14, the group will help to vaccinate dogs for rabies.
January 12th and 13th: Safari at the Ngorongoro Crater in Arusha, Tanzania
January 14th:
Depart Arusha for Dar es Salaam
Africa Lyon clinic in Mbagala, Tanzania
Players from both teams will talk to children about soccer and run them through multiple drills. Team will provide balls and other supplies to those in attendance.
January 15th: Travel from Dar es Salaam to Dubai
January 16th: Depart Dubai for Seattle; arrive in Seattle
