Mini ZIFF na Filamu za Bongo

MINI ZIFF 2013 inafanyika sambamba na Sherehe za miaka 50 ya Mapinduzi ya Zanzibar. Tamasha hili dogo litafanyika tarehe 10 -12 Jan, 2014 na kama kawaida ZIFF itatoa tuzo 10 za Filamu kwa waliofanya vizuri kwa mwaka 2013 katika filamu za Kiswahili (Bongo Movie). Tuzo zitakazotolewa ni Muigizaji Bora wa Kiume na Kike, Muongozaji Bora, Filamu Bora ya Mwaka, Muigizaji anayechipukia, Filamu bora katika Sauti, Filamu bora katika Hadithi, Balozi bora wa Filamu za kitanzania, Kampuni au mtu aliyetoa mchango mkubwa katika Tasnia hii kwa mwaka huu na Tuzo ya Heshima. Tamasha hili dogo litajumuisha filamu za kitanzania peke yake  (Bongo movies) ilikuendelea kutoa mwamko kwa watengenezaji filamu wa Tanzania kufanya vyema katika tasnia hii, Tamasha hili ni utangulizi wa tamasha kubwa la ZIFF litakalofanyika 14 – 22 Juni, 2014.


Tuzo zitatolewa baada ya jopo la majaji kupitia kazi zilizoletwa kwaajili ya Mini ZIFF na pia Tuzo ya Muigizaji Bora wa Kiume na Kike zitapata kupigiwa kura na wananchi kupitia namba maalum itakayotolewa hapo baadae kupitia Puch Mobile na hivyo kufanya watu wote Tanzania nzima kupiga kura.
Mini ZIFF itaonesha filamu kwa siku mbili na siku ya mwisho Tuzo zitatolewa kwa walioshinda, pia tunategemea kuwaalika wasanii mbalimbali maarufu kutoka hapa Tanzania kama JB, Cloud, Steve Nyerere, Ray, Makombora, Simon Mwakifamba, Monalisa, Wema Sepetu, Irene Uwoya, Lulu na wengine wengi.
Pia tunategemea kufanya show kabambe ya muziki baada ya kutolewa kwa tuzo, wasanii watakaopanda jukwaani watatangazwa hapo baadae. Kwa wale wote wanaotaka kuleta kazi zao basi walete sasa ila ziwe ambazo zimetoka mwaka 2013 tu. Wasiliana na Ibra 0713300997(DAR) au Mohd 0778685676 (ZNZ).
MINI ZIFF 2013 inaletwa kwa udhamini mkubwa wa ZUKU, Push Mobile, Azam Marine, Filamu Central Clouds TV kupitia kipindi cha Take One na Clouds FM kupitia kipindi cha Leo Tena.


MINI ZIFF AND BONGO MOVIES
All Bongo Movies stars will again congregate in Zanzibar at a Red carpet event to be organized by the Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF). The likes of Lulu Michael, JB, Wema Sepetu, Irene Uwoya, Vincent Kigosi (Ray), Mzee Majuto, Cloud, Makombora, Mzee Mvita, and many more are expected to be invited to the event where the best actors and films will be awarded.

ZIFF has announced the 2013 Edition of Mini ZIFF is to be held at the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe) in Zanzibar between 10 and 12thJanuary 2014. The Mini festival will be held alongside the 50th Anniversary celebrations of the Zanzibar revolution. The Annual Mini ZIFF is a curtain raiser to the ZIFF main festival, which will be held in 14th -22nd June 2014. The main ZIFF event is funded by ZUKU through a ten-year sponsorship.

The Festival Manager, Dean Nyalusi said that the Mini festival focuses on Swahili language films better known as Bongo Movies as encouragement to Tanzanian filmmakers to enter their films in the international edition of ZIFF. 10 nominated films will compete and 2 of those will get automatic selection to the main ZIFF competition. Categories to be awarded includes Best Actor and Best Actress, Best Director, Best Feature Film, Best Upcoming Actor/Actress, The Company that has helped film industry to grow further in Tanzania, Best Film in Sound, Best Story/Script, Best Ambassador of Tanzanian Film Industry and Life Time Achievement Award. These awards will be only for the films that have been released in 2013.

As is tradition with the Festival of the Dhow Countries there will also be a music component showcasing local talents on the last day after the awards at Old Fort Amphitheatre. The award ceremony will be on Sunday 12th January to coincide with the midnight celebrations marking the 50th Anniversary of the Zanzibar Revolution.
