AFRICAN IN NEW YORK TV SHOW

The Adjustable Tablet Holder

Sasha Somuah and his father Eddie Somuah have shown a good example to demonstrate how a father and a daughter could work together to pursue their business dreams. Mr. Somuah who migrated to the United States almost two decades ago, is a good example of a father who not only cares for his daughter but also who helps her to realize her future ambitions. When Sasha came out with an idea of an adjustable tablet holder, his father supported her. Today, her invention is in the market with 80,000 units sold and not only that but also this invention is patented. This father and daughter story is one of the few examples to demonstrate how the diaspora has contributed to the development of science and technology in this part of the world called the United States. There are so many other examples but this one is a recent one and deserves a mention.
