MEDIA ADVISORY: Global Entrepreneurship Summit

What: 7th Annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit

Who: 700 Entrepreneurs from all over the world, including three Tanzanians:

• CEO East Africa Fruits Co. Ltd., Elia Timotheo;
• Founder and Managing Director of Vonkavy Agro Company, Eugene Paul Kavishe; and
• Founder and CEO of Grabon Karakana Investment, Grace Emanuel Balele

When: Wednesday, June 22nd through Friday, June 24th

Where: Stanford University, Silicon Valley, USA

On Wednesday June 22, the 7th Annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit begins.  Approximately 700 delegates from 170 countries will attend the event, which underscores the U.S. government’s commitment to utilize entrepreneurship as a foundational tool to build communities around the world that are economically prosperous, secure, and globally connected.  This three-day Summit will take place at Stanford University in Silicon Valley, USA from June 22-24.  The 2016 GES agenda will include a wide range of workshops, panels, “ignite talks,” pitch competitions, mentoring, and networking sessions designed to give delegates an opportunity to build the skills and relationships that will help their business ventures grow.
