Monsanto is a Nightmare to Tanzania

Dear Tanzanians and Friends wherever you Are:

My heart is troubled that Tanzania government will embrace Monsanto at the cost of our backbone industry Agriculture, creating the oldest slavery that will force our people to buy seeds from Monsanto forever. Monsanto is a large American corporation that is a leader in Genetically Modified Biotechnology. Once you plant Monsanto seeds, what comes out of it can’t be planted again, forcing everyone into perpetual slavery of buying seeds from Monsanto. Worse enough, the Genetically Modified (GM) crops can’t be digested by the body and therefore causing cancer as presented below in some of research done.

While everyone in the world is banning Monsanto Genetically Modified crops that are a health hazard and can drive our farmers into perpetual slavery by buying seeds from Monsanto, some of our leaders are determined to forge ahead and give Monsanto a platform and a voice in Tanzania so long their pockets are filled. How can our leaders be that corrupt to defy logic. Are they ready to kill their own people just because they are getting paid … what a shame!

Remember, I’m not a politician but I’m an Evangelist and a man of God whose mission is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ crucified and His gift of salvation and to fight evil. The Monsanto deal is evil, it is about killing our people at the expense of someone getting rich; and that’s why I’m voicing my concern.  I’m a concerned citizen of Tanzania.  It is not so much about my opinion, but it is based on the voices presented from all over the world, from Tanzania to Russia, Europe, etc. as presented below.

Please voice your concern to our leaders. Whatever little platform you have, please use it!

Below are 15 articles of the fight in Africa, Europe, Japan and Russia banning Monsanto Genetically Modified (GM) crops. Going through these articles will highlight the gravity of the problem and create the urgency in us in what we can do. We can’t seat idle while someone is being corrupted in CCM by Monsanto to force the deal. The issue was discussed in the parliament, and a number of concerns were raised, but it seems the CCM backers of Monsanto had more voice and more muscle!
