My name is Jumanne Mtambalike, am working with the
TANZICT Project under the commission of science and technology Tanzania
(COSTECH). We have submitted an idea to the global competition called “Making
all voices count”, the competition is aiming at promoting transparency, access
to information, good governance, citizen engagement and asset disclosure.
My idea is to have a platform that can help to improve
the health sector by involving all the stakeholders in a more transparent way.
The platform is called AfyaMap, AfyaMap will allow users to write reviews and comment on
different health initiatives in Tanzania, from the quality of services offered
by the health centers and usage of available resources such as medicines and
other utilities. Individuals will have an opportunity to report directly to the
authorities and to the public about possible misconducts and abuse of available
resources this will help the authorities to take actions to improve the
services offered and hold responsible personnel accountable for their actions.
The project will also help donors and
health projects sponsors to have a real time track of the usage of their funds
and get real time feedback from targeted community if the funds they are
releasing they meet the required purpose. The project will also help the
government to understand the area of focus on improving the quality of health
services and implementing new strategies to improve those areas by working with
the people directly.
Please we are requesting you to read and
vote for the idea by following this link “http://ideas.makingallvoicescount.org/a/dtd/AfyaMap/18444-26650” and click I agree and only after
logging in you will be allowed to vote.
Please vote and spread the word for more votes, we depend so much to our
fellow Tanzanians and social reformers from anywhere in the word. Please help
to improve our health sector by supporting us.

in advance.
