A curious traveler in search to explore every tip of her homeland, Tanzania but also share her experiences with those who are interested.
Over twenty years ago, her family migrated from Tanzania to the United States. The move was a promised from her mother as she wanted her five kids to have a better life. Settling in New York at first was a culture stock. Justa spent her secondary school years learning and experiencing the many diverse cultures. As a result she tried multiple times to blend in with others but her Tanzanian culture remained pronounced. During her college years while taking her master’s degree in international nutrition, she found herself sharing more and more about her cultural experiences with fellow students. With a positive response, she started to develop an appreciation for her own culture and heritage.
Traveling to her homeland every year, presented a new opportunity for her see Tanzania with a new set of eyes. Returning to sharing and talking to different people about her experiences, she noticed very few people were aware of this beautiful country she called home. Living in search a diverse city, she was inspired to contribute to the melting pot while still honoring her Tanzanian heritage and culture. Curious on Tanzania was born, a social traveling platform that offers unique experiences within and outside Tanzania.
