AFRICAN IN NEW YORK TV SHOW



Ms. Afua Atta-Mensah is the Director of Litigation and Policy Safety Net Project at Urban Justice Center. She works to resolve affordable housing issues helping both Americans and immigrants to both know their rights and to be able to get justice if required.

She has been working as an attorney for ten years specializing in housing issues here in New York. At the moment she is running for an unpaid position as a district representative of one of the districts of Harlem and she asks you to vote for her in the coming election. 

In this interview, Ms. Atta Mensah explains what she does to help tenants get their rights and how she fits in a position she is running for. For those who are interested in knowing more about the housing issues of New York, they may learn a lot from this interview
