The Diaspora Council of Tanzanians in America (DICOTA) is conducting a survey on behalf of the National Social Security Fund of Tanzania (NSSF) to obtain demographics and economic data of Tanzanians living in the U.S. which will be used to fine tune a new insurance product targeting Tanzanians in the Diaspora worldwide, namely WESTADI.
The proposed plan shall provide benefits and services including health insurance benefits and repatriation services for human remains.
Below is a summary of the coverage of the WESTADI:
- The scheme shall provide Health Services in Tanzania for 4 Dependants.
- Health Insurance Benefits under this programme shall include both outpatient and inpatient medical services.
- The scheme shall cover repatriation of the human remains of the principle member and for the person accompanying it.
NSSF intends to use the Tanzanian Diaspora in USA for a pilot implementation of the program before it is launched globally. Thank you for participating in this important survey.
