DICOTA 2011 Convention,WASHINGTON,DC

Dear Delegate,

Thank you for attending and celebrating 5o years of Tanzania’s independence and the DICOTA 2011 Convention. These events are organized by the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in the United States of America and the Diaspora Council of Tanzanians in America (DICOTA). The events are from Thursday September 22nd to Sunday September 25th 2011 (please see the Convention Program for details). We will have full days on Friday and Saturday, followed by networking and social events, including entertainment by mitindo House,Asya Idarous Khamsini and King kiki, and of course the Uhuru Cup.

Travel Information

For those arriving through Dulles International Airport:
  • Shuttle leaves the hotel every 15 minutes to the Airport, and vice-versa
  • At the airport, passengers can board at Gate 2A or 2H
  • Shuttle is free, a 10-15 minute ride 
  • It makes round trips from 4am - 10pm
