Ageco Energy is a social entreprise working to make renewable energy technology available to people in Tanzania and beyond dealing maily with solar power. Solar power is the most prefarrable because it is cheaper than conventional power, clean to the environment and unlike use of kerosene lamps that could cause fire hazards and respiratory diseases due to their toxic fumes, solar lamps give brighter and cleaner energy. Ageco services include solar stand alone systems for off-grid areas, solar backup systems to be used when grid power goes off, solar lanterns, and a variety of solar products such as solar water heaters, solar water pumps, solar street lights, traffic lights and so forth.
