Jamhuri/Uhuru Day Celebrations Saturday, 14th December
It's that time of the year again when we celebrate Kenya's Jamhuri Day and Tanzania's Uhuru Day. December, Saturday the 14th is the day!!!
The venue is Boomanulla Oval in Narrabundah, Canberra, ACT. It's a big field and it's open to our use for the whole day that Saturday. That means plenty of space for kicking balls, kids to move about or whatever activity that may inspire the multitudes. There shall thereafter be DJ music over nyama choma (BBQ) and drinks for all to enjoy!!!
Come and Get Amongst (which in Swahili in a single word is "Tujuane!!!") as Kenya turns 50 and Tanzania 52.
