President Uhuru Kenyatta is currently in Qatar for 3-day trade talks.
Yesterday, he met His Highness the Emir, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani at his palace in Doha, where they discussed various areas of cooperation including energy generation, transport, agriculture and security. The two signed four agreements on Economic, Commercial and Technical Cooperation, which lay the foundation for cooperation between Kenya and Qatar in trade, industry, energy, agriculture, communication, transport, construction, labour and tourism.
