With less than one month to go ahead of the 19th annual Zanzibar International Film Festival – the time is now to book your trip with the specially created travel deals from ZIFF’s travel partners.
Once again this year ZIFF is excited to offer discounted rates on flights and accommodation to Zanzibar from 9th – 17th July 2016.
ZIFF Partners with fastjet
ZIFF is excited to be partnering with fastjet, the low-cost pan-African airline that now operates three flights per week between Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport direct to Zanzibar. 
fastjet offers flights to Dar es Salaam from across east Africa and is ready to welcome all guests for ZIFF 2016. Fastjest commenced daily flights to Zanzibar on 11th January 2016 in response to strong passenger demand from within Tanzania, the region and Southern African market.
Commenting on the partnership, fastjet Tanzania General Manager, John Corse said that fastjet offers flights from across East Africa and was ready to welcome all guests for ZIFF 2016, “fastjet’s direct flights to Zanzibar will make it easier than ever for guests to explore ZIFF and all the sites of Zanzibar Island by providing convenient, safer and affordable air travel”, Corse said.

Within Tanzania, fares from Dar es Salaam from Zanzibar start from Tsh: 22,000/- (exclusive of taxes) with those from Zanzibar to Johannesburg in South Africa starting from Tsh: 110,000/- (exclusive of  taxes) respectively.

Accommodation Partners
While staying in Stone Town, where ZIFF screenings and special events take place, guests are invited to make use of special accommodation rates from ZIFF partner hotels: The Seyyida Hotel, The Marumaru Hotel Zanzibar, The Tausi Palace Hotel and Al Minar Hotel are all offering special rates to guests who quote their fastjet reference number when making a booking.  All hotels must be contacted directly to secure the ZIFF guest rate.
