But the damage had been done. The hacker tweeted at Swizz's wife Alicia Keys saying "its over," while promising new music from Kanye West and Jay-Z after hinting that he'd also hacked into Swizz's e-mail account. Additionally, he bad-mouthed Swizz's ex-wife Mashonda and encouraged everyone to follow a satellite account, promising to free a song called 'Slade' by Jay-Z.
Swizz swooped in and reclaimed the page, deleting the tweets and explaining that he took it in jest. "IM BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN THEY GOT ME REAL QUICK HAD TO GO H.A.M. MR HACKER WAS FUNNY AS HELL LMAO!!!!!" Swizz wrote. "CAN'T EVER TAKE TWITTER TO SERIOUS ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN PEOPLE ARE HATERS 4 LIFE! #S---HAPPENS BUT STAY POSITIVE AT ALL TIMES!"
