Manchester United's Anderson to miss season with injury

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has been ruled out for the rest of the season after rupturing his cruciate ligament against West Ham.

The Brazilian was injured 19 minutes into his first match for over a month in Tuesday's 3-0 win at Old Trafford.

Having just overcome an ankle injury suffered in January, the 21-year-old is unlikely to feature at the World Cup.
