Why ambassador Maajar is different?, As the philosophers say, intuition is your valuable impression . impression cuts like a laser blade ,its too deep .You can ignore intuitions, but will always come back to bite you .Intuitions are like facts ,they are stubborn in nature, they don’t change, but opinions does .Impressions give the clue at the first sight ,first impression means a lot ,is like choosing between going with you heart or your brain. For most reasonable people going with the brain always triumph going with the heart. My first impression with ambassador Maajar ,after meeting her last night at the vijimambo launching ceremony are as follow. First, she is down to earth ,for the first time last night I saw the ambassador dancing mayenu , in the middle of group of people most of them are unknown to her ,and still participating fully in mduara, and go with the groove .Secondly, she is easy going, this was evidenced by the embassy staffs who was there around her, they looked easy, relaxed around their boss. I did not see them sweating, going up and down to accommodate her as we always see them do with the previous ambassadors. That tells a lot about her personality. Thirdly, I saw the woman who is not politician. After spending several hours with us ,talking to us ,listening to her speech, I did not hear a single word about CCM, KAFU,CHADEMA or any other political parties for that matter, that was unusual, especially at this time middle of heating campaign season back home leading to this month general election. Fourthly, I saw the lawyer ,who just happened to be a diplomat ,she took a big gamble attending the Vijimambo lunching ceremony .A typical ambassador would have said no, simply because he/she don’t know if vijimambo is pro or against CCM and the president. What happen if Vijimambo is anti president and CCM , then will put him/her job in jeopardy .But as lawyers always do, she made sure she put forward what is called fall back stand. On her speech she made a case that ,she is champion of the idea of social networking ,because it is good for Tanzanians ,and added she embraces the idea of free speech ,but suggested a very thin line on which Vijimambo can strike a balance, between continue to unite Tanzanian people and stay as neutral as possible and take the path of bashing Tanzania and its leaders. Basically she puts the blog’s back on the corner by giving it Abyssinian choice. Very strong case made by good a lawyer. .Firth, she is friendly and charming , peoples person .She took time to great everyone who came before her by hand shaking with smile , she took time to listen what people had to say to her ,and showed the sense of newcomer . I think Tanzania , America , we hit the Jackpot, this lady is the real deal, and that is my first impression.

Good.
That's right.
Will See...action should speak Louder..
I felt the same way, she is very down to earth and enganged and non political as well.
This is exactly who we need to represent our country.
Well said.
