Images of African Hip Hop, Culture, and Movement

Dr. Msia Kibona Clark, a Howard University alum now serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pan-African Studies at California State University- Los Angeles, will present a special lecture on hip hop in Africa.

Dr. Clark's talk will draw upon her extensive research on the subject in Africa and in the global community at large. The lecture will examine how hip hop has changed Africans and how, in turn, Africans are changing hip hop around the world.
