The New York Tanzanian Community (NYTC) invites you to a music entertainment and fundraising event on Saturday, July 30th 2011 in downtown Manhattan at Alwan for the Arts. There will be music from a group called The Sounds of Taarab & Belly Dance and other artists including Essau Pwelle, a New York-based Tanzanian Banjo artist playing traditional African music from southern Tanzania. Please, don't miss this important event, a night full of entertainmnent and food for only $20 admission fee. Doors will be open @6:30pm and partying will continue until 11pm.
