Confirmed: Kim Kardashian Files for Divorce, After 2 Months of Marriage-Zimbio

While Prince William and Kate Middleton celebrated their 6-month wedding anniversary yesterday, Kim Kardashian was apparently getting divorce paperwork ready -- 72 days into her marriage to Kris HumphriesTMZ reports the reality star filed the paperwork today, and Ryan Seacrest confirmed the news on Twitter.

"Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this
morning," he wrote. "I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins"

Rumor has it she'll not seek an annulment, and instead will cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. The date of separation will reportedly be listed as today, October 31. Happy Halloween!

Sources say one of the main reasons for the split is that Kardashian will never move to Minnesota, which is where Humphries wants to settle down. He's from the area and apparently thought she was onboard with moving to the Midwest eventually. She's not. They reportedly got caught up in the wedding planning and didn't really hash out their long-term plan until after they got hitched.

And, insiders say Mr. Humphries "doesn't believe" in divorce, and that he's "bummed" and had no idea she was filing until today. Harsh.

Now, for the logistics: Kardashian has supposedly hired lawyer to the stars Laura Wasser. Her celeb client list includes Britney SpearsMaria ShriverAngelina Jolie, and more. Wasser will be helping Ms. Kardashian through the divorce process, and, of course, making sure the prenuptial agreement the couple signed is upheld.

Just for fun, let's take a look at this not-so-fairytale marriage by the numbers:
