Agunman has been killed after walking into a primary school in the US state of Connecticut and opening fire injuring at least three people.
The shooting was reported at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.
The Newtown Bee newspaper posted a photograph of a group of young students - some crying, others looking frightened - being escorted by adults through a car park in a line, with hands on each other's shoulders.
