Sky-high: Aston Martin airlifted 1,000ft on top of luxury Dubai hotel in James Bond-style stunt to mark centenary

The car-maker's ultimate grand tourer - the Vanquish - was lifted onto the helipad at the Burj Al Arab hotel (left) to mark 100 years of the iconic brand. The spectacular stunt was a nod to some of the dramatic scenes Aston Martin's have been involved in over the years as James Bond's favourite car.
