Sleepy Lamar Odom dozes on bench in court hallway on day of child custody hearing with ex

Lamar Odom was pictured snoozing on a bench in a New York courthouse hallway on Tuesday during an attendance for a custody hearing
But on a visit to the courthouse on Tuesday, Lamar Odom put in a somewhat sleepy performance - by falling into a slumber on a bench in the hallway.
The Los Angeles Clippers player is pictured here, courtesy of InTouch Weekly magazine, dozing off after proceedings in his custody hearing apparently became a little tiresome.
Out like a light: The Clippers star slept for around 30 minutes according to reports before being woken by a court attendant
Lamar, 33, who is now married to Khloe Kardashian, is fighting his ex Liza Morales for custody of their daughter Destiny, 14 and son Lamar Jr, 11.

According to InTouch, Lamar slept for more than half-an-hour.
An eyewitness told the publication he was 'out like a light, not moving,' despite the critical litigation taking place in the next room.

Finally a court officer approached the power forward and told him he needed to 'sit upright'.
Lamar consented and immediately 'went right into resting his head in his hand,' says the witness.
The magazine reports that Lamar later chalked his exhaustion up to jet lag.
But he failed to mention that the night before he went out to dinner with Khloé at trendy NYC eatery Catch.
The visit to court came at the same time as his former long-term girlfriend Liza Morales published an open letter in The Daily Beast speaking of her devastation at his whirlwind romance and wedding to Khloe Kardashian.

Opening up: Liza published an open letter about her devastation at Lamar's marriage to Khloe Kardashian

Liza, who had three children with the basketball star, one of whom passed away at just six months, has just started taking part in her own reality show called Starter Wives.
She writes: ‘I don’t think I’ll forget the tight knot I felt in the pit of my stomach the morning I received the text message with three simple words on the screen. It read 'I’m getting married’ and it was from the man I’d spent more than 10 years of my life with.
‘Years that included us getting engaged in 2000 and becoming parents to one daughter and two sons. Yet not long after our separation Lamar Odom was getting married to Khloe Kardashian, a woman he’d met four weeks before.’
Not a care in the world: The couple didn't look too concerned as they made their way through the airport heading back to LA

She added: ‘How could the man who’d constantly given me reason after reason for why we couldn’t get married just yet now be ready to tie the knot so quickly? There aren’t words to explain how I felt that day.’

The mother-of-two also revealed that now she has no relationship at all with the man she met while a student at Christ The King HS in Queens, she says: ‘We kept things cordial for the children’s sake after the breakup, but that changed when he married Khloe.
‘Now we only communicate through third parties and lawyers, which I regret deeply since it is exactly what we each experienced as children and said we wouldn’t do to our kids.’
United front: The couple held hands showing that their relationship is still strong, despite Liza's words

She went on to write that it is very hard to hear about Lamar’s new relationship with Khloe day in day out, as their lives are so wildly documented, due to Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
On Tuesday evening Khloe was spotted on her man’s arm as they flew out of New York following his court hearing.
The famous reality star was grinning as they made their way through the airport, clearly not too concerned with Liza’s open comments about her relationship.
