U.S. Embassy Green Team joins Voice Giving to clean Mwenge bus stand

 On April 20, 2013 The Green Team from U.S. Embassy Dar es Salaam joined the NGO Voice Giving to clean the Mwenge bus stand. The event included over 40 volunteers from Voice Giving and other partner organizations as well as members of the U.S. Embassy Community. Voice Giving is a Tanzanian NGO founded by seven alumni of the U.S. Bold Leaders program.
The organizations seeks to empower and encourage Tanzanians from all walks of life by making them aware of the importance of conserving the environment and their role in keeping the environment clean and safe for residents of Dar es Salaam. (Photo courtesy of the American Embassy)
