EXCLUSIVE PICTURES INSIDE THE CLEVELAND KIDNAP HOUSE:

Son of 'abductor' reveals how father padlocked doors to basement, attic and garage because 'we weren't allowed to go there'

Anthony Castro (pictured right with his father in 2001), a 31-year-old banker who lives in Columbus, Ohio, has depicted his father, Ariel Castro, as a violent, controlling man who nearly beat his mother to death in 1993 while she was recovering from brain surgery. Photographs from 2001 show a grinning Castro (center, with a former girlfriend) standing in front of a locked door leading to the basement where he allegedly held three women captive in chains for a decade. Anthony said he and his family are shocked by the allegations against Ariel, 52, and his two brothers, 54-year-old Pedro (circled left in the 1990s) and 50-year-old Onil - but believe they are capable of the crimes.

Ariel Castro, 52, (center left), and his brothers Onil, 50, (center) and Pedro, 54, (center right) have been arrested after three missing women were found at Ariel's Cleveland home (right) on Monday afternoon. Kidnap victim Amanda Berry, 26, (pictured left) managed to climb through a screen door while Ariel was out and she fled to a neighbor's home to call 911. Police also found Gina DeJesus, 23, and Michele Knight, 32, who had also been missing for a decade, along with a six-year-old girl. The child was born to Berry while she was held captive and now police sources have said at least five other children could have been born in the home. One of the women also suffered as many as three miscarriages as she was so malnourished.
