VIU is Proud to Introduce All New School of Education
VIU has continued to make a commitment to providing high demand programs in an effort to support a competent, scholarly and well-equipped workforce both locally and globally. Nelson Mandela once said that “education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.”
The School of Education hosts several on-ground and online programs including aMaster of Arts in Education (M.Ed) and a Graduate Certificate in EducationMaster of Arts Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA in TESOL) and theGraduate Certificate in TESOL. Additionally, the school offers the benefits of small class sizes, low student-to-teacher ratios and highly devoted faculty working to support and foster student-centered learning.

VIU Also Launched School of Public and International Affairs Just Weeks Before School of Education
We are very excited to announce School of Public and International affairs with two very high deman majors in Public Administration and International Relations.
Virginia International University’s location just outside of Washington, DC provides students with unique opportunities for internships and job placement upon completion of their degree. Students enrolled in VIU’s MPA and MIR Programs are prepared to hold leadership positions in a variety of fields including, government, non-profit, public agencies, and the private sector.

Congratulations VIU Graduates
VIU celebrated its 8th Annual Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 5th at Woodson High School.  Mr. Toby Chaudhuri, co-founder of SocialXDesign and Senior Advisor to the White House, delivered the keynote address to 108 graduating students and an audience of more than 400 guests.
