TANZANIA SUPPORTS NUCLEAR-WEAPON-FREE-ZONES

Colonel Dr. Edward Masalla, speaking during a Thematic debate on Nuclear Weapons held at the United Nations Head Quarters under the auspice of the First Committee of the General Assembly. The First Committee deals with disarmament and International Security issues. In his statement Colonel Masalla said, Tanzania supports the call for the establishment of Nuclear weapon free zones in the Middle- East. While at the same time calling on the International Atomic Energy Agency to ensure that education on Nuclear Technology is equal given to all member states in good faith without discrimination.
