DICOTA once again is inviting you to North Carolina, October 2-5 to journey along, as we “Embrace Our Own” with Awards instituted to shine the spotlight on the best practices and to reward impact, innovations and community development efforts in different sectors.
The award categories reflect this year’s theme and DICOTA’s mission:
2014 Convention Theme: Empowering the Tanzanian Diaspora for Socio- Economic Transformation: At Home and Abroad.”
DICOTA Mission: Striving to become a catalyst for the establishment of better economic, social and cultural cooperation between the USA and Tanzania.
The process begins with nominations, which are then screened for eligibility and correct category placement. Take this opportunity to nominate a deserving someone in the Tanzanian Diaspora community for one of the prestigious awards.
