Due to the overcrowded classrooms and a shortage of school desks,
many students of Misewe Primary School in Dar Es Salaam have to sit on the floor and learn. These are the conditions of numerous schools throughout Tanzania. Join Miss Tanzania USA, Aeesha Kamara on her mission to provide at least 50 school desks for primary schools Dar Es Salaam and Morogoro. It cost $50 to build a school desk that sits 4 students. On her recent trip to Tanzania, she was able to donate 4 school desks and get 16 students off the floor at Misewe Primary School in Tabata. This school alone needs 196 more school desks to get all their students off the floor. The youth of Tanzania is our future leaders, doctors,engineers, and much more.
