Dear Diaspora Members,
We are pleased to announce the slate of final candidates running for positions on the Executive Committee (EC) of the Diaspora Council of Tanzanians in America (DICOTA). We received and announced 46 nominations, some of whom were nominated for multiple positions. Of those nominations received, the following have accepted their nominations and had eligible membership status to compete.

Elections for the Officers of DICOTA will take place via electronic ballot on Saturday October 1 and Sunday October 2, 2016. Eligible voters will receive voting instructions via email with a unique pin number in order to vote, and final results will be announced on Tuesday October 4. To be eligible to vote, you must be an active member with membership dues paid in full no later than Monday September 26 2016. If you registered and attended the 2016 Dallas Convention as a delegate (not as a sponsor), your registration also included membership.
