Diaspora Council of Tanzanians in America
Dear Diaspora Members,
We are pleased to inform you that we have received several nominations for each of the 5 open Officer Positions on DICOTA’s Executive Committee (EC). These individuals either self-nominated or were nominated by others. At the nomination closing on 8/21/16, we have received a total of 46 nominations with some individuals nominated for multiple positions.
We are currently in the process of compiling the final candidate slate that will participate in the upcoming elections. Eligibility for inclusion on the final slate is driven by a combination of membership status and candidate’s acceptance of the nomination. The slate with all eligible candidates will be shared in the upcoming days.
For your reference, we have listed all nominees received as at close of the nomination period on August 21st.
