The Montgomery County African Affairs Advisory Group cordially invites you to the launching of Mental Health Awareness Campaign. Mental Health Awareness is one of the top priorities on the agenda for the Montgomery County African Affairs Advisory Group (AAAG). Although Mental Health is a National focus, the African diaspora communities still experiences lack of awareness due to stigma, cultural barriers and beliefs. Moreover, Diaspora communities experience an overall lack of exposure and limited access to information on mental health as well as county resources that are readily available to them. Our goal is to ensure that, we are equipped with appropriate knowledge in providing intervention and accessing resources.
