He claimed his downfall – aside from assaulting Rihanna in 2009, obviously – is loving too much.

And it appears Chris Brown is back on the slippery slope of romance as he crawls back into the arms of desperate ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

Chris’ on-off relationship with Rihanna seems to finally be over after a string of bizarre Twitter rants indirected at each other.

While there was speculation Chris and Karrueche are back together – this picture all but confirms they have hooked up again.

Chris is seen cuddling into his beau’s shoulder while she affectionately strokes his head.

The photo was uploaded to Instagram my mutual pal Kid Red over the weekend. He added the caption: “No friendship without love.”

Earlier this year Chris explained how he’s no longer double-dating Karrueche and Rihanna – which is nice because he was in the process of rolling back the women’s rights movement about a century.

The two women also competed against each other in some strange ‘bum-off’ competition.

The unorthodox battle started when Karrueche posted a snap shoving her naked bum in Chris’ face. Forcing her rival to respond by giving herself a daisy-duke wedgie.
