Information to the Public: Periods of heavy rains at times, strong winds and large ocean waves are expected.

	Phenomena/Hazard/Disaster	Periods of heavy rainfall exceeding 50mm in 24hours, strong winds
		exceeding 40 km/hr and large ocean waves reaching 2m.
	Level of Confidence:	Medium: (70%)
	Expected Area :	Unguja and Pemba isles, Dar es Salaam, Pwani and Tanga regions, with
		possibility of spreading towards Lindi, Mtwara and Morogoro regions.
		This is due to the enhancement of the Inter-tropical convergence zone
	Text:	(ITCZ) associated with atmospheric easterly waves propagating from east
		towards and over the areas mentioned above.
	Advisory:	Residents of high risk areas, Ocean users and Disaster Management
		Authorities are advised to take necessary precautions.
	Remarks:	TMA will continue to monitor the situation and issue updates when
		necessary.
