B2B Trade Mission from Tanzania returned back from Comoros to Dar es Salaam today, after three of focused meetings and seminar in Moroni, Comoros.
The mission was led by Hon Halima Dendego who is the Regional Commissioner of Mtwara in association with Mr. Abdulsamad Abdulrahim, CEO & Director of Ocean Business Partners, in collaboration with Mr. Javed Jafferji of Gallery Tours, the Comoros Chamber of Commerce (UCCIA) who had organized a unique 3-day focused B2B International Investment & Trade Mission to the Union of the Comoros Island from 7th June with 22 delegates by Air Tanzania flights
Tanzania has strong ties to the Union of the Comoros Island. Both countries have been cooperating very well for decades in various economic and social sectors. These two countries enjoys the strong ties that bind the two nations relationship which are reflected by people, culture and economical ties
Tanzania and the Union of Comoros Island have huge potential to deepen even further their strong ties in the areas of manufacturing, education, health, fisheries, aviation, transportation and many more. During the focussed three days meetings with Comorian bussiness entrpreneurs , Chamber of Commerce and MODEC Members, The Vice President of Chamber of Commerce of Zanzibar, Mr Ali Aboud signed a MOU with President of Chamber of Commerce of Comoros, Mr Fahmy Thabit to promote and to streghten the relationship between the two countries.
The B2B Mission to the Comoros was to introduced to carefully selected businesses and companies to the many business possibilities through focused B2B meetings and introductions to the local businesses, Hotel & Hospitality sectors, International Oil Companies (IOCs), Manufacturing, Power company, Service Providers, Food & Commodities, , Cables Companies, Travel experts, Local operators, Importers and Exporters,
Tour operators, Business Communities and key Government officials.
