I met him first in twenty-eleven’s glow,At Chef’s Pride Restaurant, where humble spirits show.

Othman Michuzi bridged our fates that day,A greeting warm, his light led the way.

Through Kigamboni’s sunlit streets,He fought for justice, never defeat.

With courage firm, he stood his ground,is wisdom a compass, his resolve profound.

Family first, his golden creed,In every moment, he saw their need.

No birthday missed, no milestone ignored,In love's pure light, his spirit adored.

Music flowed within his soul,Profesa Jay’s lyrics made him whole.

Dancing, laughing, with his kin,A melody of life played deep within.

To Martha, his light, his shining star,He taught her dreams could take her far.

"Give your best, never settle for less,"A father’s lesson, a life to impress.

To Melvin, his son, he left a flame,A legacy built on honor and name.

"Be brave, be kind, let truth be your guide,In every storm, let faith abide."

As Africa called, he answered its plea,A vision for health, for humanity.

First among Tanzanians to rise,To WHO’s halls beneath global skies.

But fate, relentless, had plans untold,Took him away, a story left unrolled.

Before his path could fully unfold,His spirit ascended, pure and gold.

We'll rise again, though hearts may ache,To honor his dreams, for his great sake.

As Samia vowed, we'll proudly maintain,A Tanzanian voice in WHO's domain.

Now, we mourn, yet celebrate too,The life he lived, the dreams he pursued.

For Faustine’s light, though dimmed in time,Still shines in hearts, a hope sublime.

Oh, Tanzania, lift your head,For even in grief, his life is widespread.

In every soul he touched, we see,The power of love and legacy.

Rest now, dear leader, father, and friend,Your journey may stop, but it shall not end.

In hearts we hold and steps we've trod,You live in us, a gift from God.

Thank you.
