DIDDY, MARY J. BLIGE SET TO ATTEND HEAVY D'S FUNERAL-The Boombox

Fans hoping to pay their respects to Heavy Dwill have a chance this Thursday (Nov. 17), theNew York Daily News reports, as the family holds a public viewing from noon to 7PM at Grace Baptist Church in the rapper's hometown of Mount Vernon, N.Y.

The following day, the late MC's friends and loved ones will gather at the same church for a private service. Among those expected to attend are Sean "Diddy" Combs, Mary J. Bligeand members of the Wayans Brothers.

The affable rhymer behind such hits as 'Now That We Found Love' and 'Is It Good to You'died Nov. 8 in Los Angeles after collapsing in his driveway. While the cause of death is not yet known, the actor and musician, born Dwight Arrington Myers, had been to his doctor the day before and complained of flu-like symptoms.

As 79-year-old Eda Phillips, mother of rapper Pete Rock, tells the Daily News, the fallen MC's family is "devastated" by the unexpected loss.

"His sister is having a hard time," Phillips told the newspaper. "She says it's not true, that it didn't happen."
