Thursday December 20, 2012 - An Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) top official was overheard on Wednesday, telling his colleagues at Panafric Hotel that Nairobi governor and Siaya senate seats have been reserved for Housing Assistant Minister Bishop Margaret Wanjiru and Finance Assistant Minister Dr Oburu Odinga respectively.
The official said there is no way ODM can get rid of Bishop Wanjiru and Oburu Odinga since they are close confidantes of Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
The official was categorical saying others who are aspiring for the seats are wasting their time and money as the party has zoned off areas for the selected few to get direct nominations
This may create a big rebellion in ODM as both Dr Evans Kidero and Philip Kisia have also expressed interest in the Nairobi governor seat.
