Beyonce set to perform National Anthem at President Obama's Inauguration

Her performance of the soulful classic At Last was one of the highlights of President Barack Obama's first Inauguration.
Now Beyonce will once again welcome the Commander In Chief into the Oval office for his second term.
The 31-year-old singer has been chosen to sing the National Anthem at the prestigious event on January 21, it was announced on Wednesday.

Beyonce will once again welcome the Commander In Chief into the Oval office for his second term performing the National Anthem for his Inauguration, it was announced Wednesday

A vocal supporter of the President, the singer has been chosen to perform along with Kelly Clarkson who will sing My Country, 'Tis Of Thee and James Taylor who will be singing America The Beautiful on the West Front of the US Capitol in Washington, D.C, the Presidential Inaugural Committee revealed.
Interesting timing: The announcement was made the same day GQ Magazine released its new cover featuring a sexy picture of the singer
And, Obama couldn't be happier. The 51-year-old President said in a statement:
'Vice President Biden and I are honored to have these wonderfully talented musical artists perform at the Inaugural ceremony. Their music is often at the heart of the American story and speaks to folks across the country.'
The former Destiny's Child front woman provided the stunning soundtrack to the 2009 Inauguration in which Obama slow danced with his wife Michelle to Beyonce's rendition of Etta James At Last.
The announcement comes the same day as GQ magazine released the cover of their upcoming issue of the star.
The racy shoot by controversial photographer Terry Richardson sees the mother of one show off her curves in a barely-there ensemble.
Beyonce - who is married to rapper Jay-Z with whom she shares one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy - will no doubt be wearing something a little more conservation for her Inauguration performance.
The 31-year-old singer and her husband have both been some of the President's most high profile supporters.
The Dreamgirls actress wrote a letter of praise for him ahead of last November's US presidential election.

Beyonce said Obama had inspired the future generation, including her own daughter.

'Every day we see your heart and character, inspiring us to give more of ourselves,' she wrote.

'You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be. You are the reason my daughter and nephew will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be.

'All my respect and adoration, Beyonce.'

She also designed a clothing including a onsie for babies to raise money for President Obama's re-election campaign and posed on her blog wearing a Texans for Obama tee.
