KAMA KWELI UNAJIPENDA HII INAKUUSU BAADA YA STRESS ZA SCHEDULE UNGEPENDA WEEKEND MOJA UTOKE VIPI

Dazzling: Jennifer Garner arrives at the 65th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles on Saturday

Stylish: The 40-year-old star wore a white Antonio Berardi cocktail dress and

The actress showed off her ensemble later at the Moet & Chandon Lounge
Hollywood's new golden boy: Ben Affleck walks the red carpet ahead of the ceremony
The former Frasier star was joined by his wife, Kayte Walsh, who wore a red cocktail dress, on the red carpet.
The actor opened with a joke for Bigelow, whose Zero Dark Thirty chronicles the capture of terrorist Osama bin Laden - insisting it must be 'torture' for her to wait for the winners to be announced.
The director was styled to jockey with the veterans of Hollywood's boys' club, wearing smart blazer and black trousers to the event.
One of the evening's early winners was Lena Dunham. The 26-year-old Girls creator, producer, writer, director and star took home the prize for Best Comedy Series.

Pretty in patterns: Les Miserables star Anne Hathaway went a little adventurous with her wardrobe

Director and star: Ben Affleck, right, and Argo actor Bryan Cranston, left

Black out: Helen Hunt, left, and Kathryn Bigelow, right, went for different looks in classic black

Fashion fail: Lena Dunham wore a pink and red colour blocked dress that looked ill-fitted to her frame
His good luck charm: Actor-directors Lena Dunham and Ben Affleck hug on the red carpet
Star-studded: (L-R) Lucasfilm Co-Chair Kathleen Kennedy, director Tom Hooper and actress Anne Hathaway
The DGAs typically serve as a final blessing for the film that goes on to win best picture and director at the Academy Awards.
Affleck can go only one-for-two at the Oscars, though. He's up for the film honor at the guild awards, and Argo is looking like the best picture favorite at the Oscars on February 24. But the director's branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences overlooked him and several other key filmmakers for an Oscar directing slot.
The guild and Oscar directing lineups usually match up closely, but they have little in common this season, with only Steven Spielberg for Lincoln and Ang Lee for Life of Pi nominated at both shows.
Hollywood princess: Beasts of the Southern Wild star Quvenzhane Wallis was adorable in a pink dress and puppy dog purse
Lady in red: Actress Famke Janssen continued the bold trend

Dapper: Martin Short and Hugh Jackman looked handsome in their tuxedos

A who's who: Director Ang Lee, left with actor Suraj Sharma, and right, actor/director Jon Favreau
Funnyman: Comedian Cedric the Entertainer
But Affleck's Argo, in which he also stars as a CIA operative who hatches a bold plan to rescue six Americans during the hostage crisis in Iran, has been sweeping up all the major awards since the Oscar nominations. Argo won best drama and director at the Golden Globes and top film honors from the Screen Actors Guild and the Producers Guild of America.
Many of the same film professionals who vote in guild awards also cast ballots for the Oscars. If Affleck wins at the Directors Guild awards, it will be a strong sign that Argo has the inside track for the best picture Oscar.
Saturday's honours aren't all about Argo, though. Milos Forman (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Amadeus) will receive the guild's lifetime achievement award, and the director's union also will hand out prizes for television, documentary and commercials.
The evening's M.C.: Actor Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh walked the red carpet before he began his duties as the evening's host
Rocking the red carpet: Musician/filmmaker Dave Grohl and wife Jordyn Blum
Father and daughter: Director Gordon Hunt and daughter actress Helen Hunt

Backstage: Jane Lynch, left, and Hugh Jackman with director Kathryn Bigelow

Gentlemen: Les Miserables director Tom Hooper, left, and David Hasselhoff, right
Glammed up: Actor Peter Fonda and wife Parky DeVogelaere

Simply stunning: Jennifer Lawrence accepted the award for Outstanding

Chic: The 22-year-old star wore a chic Stella McCartney blue and black jumpsuit for the occasion
Viola Davis, James Franco, Colin Firth, Penelope Cruz, Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren, Heath Ledger, Kate Winslet and Charlize Theron are among those previously honoured.
SBIFF Executive Director Roger Durling heaped praise on Jennifer when she was announced the latest honouree.
'Ms. Lawrence impressed us earlier this year in The Hunger Games, but has now left us moonstruck with her career-defining performance in Silver Linings Playbook.
Smouldering: Jennifer's smokey eye make-up and textured wavy hair complimented her sexy bustier
Have a seat: Jennifer had a brief interview during the ceremony
Another angle: The actress showed off her ensemble later at the Moet & Chandon Lounge
'Naming her our Outstanding Performer of the Year is an understatement,' he said.
Silver Linings Playbook has in fact rounded off a banner year for the young star.
The David O. Russell film, co-starring Bradley Cooper, is nominated for eight Oscars, including a best actress nod for Jennifer.
A helping hand: A gentleman with security helped the actress navigate her walk to the event
