Soccer fans to immortalize U.S. goalkeeper Tim Howard by renaming an airport in his honor.
America
is caught in Tim Howard fever, and rightfully so. There was a magic
confluence that saw him play at his absolute best on the world's
brightest stage and now soccer fans want to honor the USMNT goalkeeper
with a special honor -- his own airport.
The
petition needs a grand total of 100,000 signatures in order to receive a
response from the White House and there are currently just over 3,000
signatures.

Just another stupid petition! Can't think of any well-reasoned rationale of renaming an airport already named in honor of another icon.
