Craving Fries? Your Perfect Recipe For Homemade Garlic Fries

When was the last time you ate fries? I am sure it’s very recent ;). I am not talking about restaurant fries but homemade fries. There is nothing as tasty as homemade fries! Well, I made garlic fries a few days ago and snacked on them while watching Spongebob Squarepants (yes I love this cartoon) . And while we’re on this subject, isn’t it cool that he lives in a pineapple?
Thank you for listening to my cartoon proclamations ….Back to garlic chips……
These homemade fries have a pungent of awesomeness and you can easily make them. Furthermore, the ingredients can be found easily; potatoes, oil, garlic, coriander and salt. Besides having hot garlic fries at your disposal, the oil used to fry the garlic already infused with garlicky goodness can be used for other flavorful sautéeing.
Ingredients For Homemade Garlic Fries
4 potatoes, washed and cut into fries
Oil to fry
Salt to taste
3 cloves of Chopped Garlic
2 teaspoons Coriander (Dhania), finely chopped

Step 1: Put the cut fries in a large bowl filled with cold water for 20 minutes. Soaking potatoes in water helps to remove extra starch which results to a fluffier inside.

Step 2: After 20 minutes, rinse the potatoes with fresh water and dry thoroughly with a kitchen towel or paper towel.
Step 3: Heat the oil and add the garlic. Fry for a few seconds while shaking and swirling the pan constantly. If the garlic is browning too unevenly or quickly, reduce the heat. The garlic is ready when it turns golden brown. Garlic burns very fast so you have to be careful not to burn it.
Step 4: Remove the garlic from the pan and drain on a paper towel.

Step 5: Put the potatoes fries in the oil and fry until golden brown or cooked to your liking.
Step 6: Remove the cooked fries and drain them on paper towels.
Step 7: In a another bowl, toss the fries with garlic and garnish with chopped coriander ( dhania) and salt until evenly distributed.

Serve and Enjoy ….That was so simple
