President Kikwete Holds a Press Conference at UN Headquarters New York

The Chairman of the UN High Level Panel On The Global Response To Health Crisis President Dr.Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete addresses reporters at the UN Headquarters in York during a joint press conference held at the end of the panel’s first meeting and subsequent briefing to member countries today.

The Panel was appointed by the UN Secretary General Ban ki Moon on April this year to make recommendations to strengthen national and international systems to prevent and manage future health crises taking into account lessons learnt from the response to the outbreak of Ebola Virus disease.President Kikwete left New York this evening(photos by Freddy Maro)
