DICOTA Board of Trustees Election - Introducing the Candidates

Dear Tanzanian Diaspora Member: 

On behalf of the Diaspora Council of Tanzanians in America (DICOTA), please accept our appreciation for participating in the nomination process for potential members of the DICOTA Board of Trustees. The process that was closed on December 3rd, 2015. A total of 38 nominations were received.

Members of the Board of Trustees shall be elected for a term of three (3) years. Trustees shall be allowed to stand for election for a maximum of two (2) consecutive three-year terms and may be re-elected after  being away for one (1) term; however, the immediate past Chair, shall serve one (1) additional year.

The information on these candidates will be available on-line for your review and consideration till December 27th, 2015.

Please note that in order to be eligible to vote on December 28th, 2015, membership dues must be paid in full by December 27th, 2015. Voting ballots will not be issued to inactive members as of December 27th, 2015.

The future of the DICOTA is in the hands of its elected officials. It is important therefore you exercise your opinion at this time.
