Rais Yoweri Museveni wa Uganda ameshinda awamu ya tano ya urais
na kupata fursa ya kuongeza muda wake aliofikia wa miaka 30 akiwa
madarakani.
Kiongozi huyo mwenye miaka 71, amepata kura asilimia 60.75,
huku mpinzani wake mkuu Kizza Besigye akipata kura asilimia 35, kwa
mujibu wa tume ya uchaguzi ya Uganda.
Hata hivyo Besigye ambaye amezuiliwa nyumbani kwake amepinga
matokeo hayo na kuitaka jumuiya ya kimataifa nayo kupinga ushindi wa
rais Museveni.

Once a dictator always a dictator that was not an election
Most African countries are either dictatorship or stealing votes and announce fake results to allow the ruling party return to leadership. Museven has been in for 4 terms and now 5th. Why he ordered the opposition leader to be in police custody during election? We can relate the same stuff which happened to Tanzania election last October the opposition had a very tough situation to their IT staff being held on to stop them collecting results!!
Africa need to learn from the on going campaign in US, what if Trump were in African countries on campaign!! But America democracy is one way of telling voters to decide>
I agree with Anony. @ 6:39 AM. It is saddening that M7 has failed to revisit African history. He needs to refresh his memories and recall the fate of past African dictators, the likes of Mobutu of Zaire (DRC), Mubarak (EGYPT), Meningtsu (ETHIOPIA), Gaddafi (LIBYA), and of course, his predecessors fellow dictators Iddi Amin and Obote respectively. Does Museveni want to take the same path of destructive history?
